Being a bit of a rock hound, I
loved the idea of
taking some of those stones that I love so much and making something
beautiful
that could be worn. When I first saw some examples of wire wrapping
done I knew
it was something that I wanted to learn how to do.
Knitting is also another hobby that I love and have been doing so for some time. I have multitudes of scarves and shawls but was tired of the same old round or wooden shawl pins. I decided to fashion my own using clay and recycled, double pointed, bamboo needles.
All of my jewelry pieces and beaded shawl pins use semi precious beads and stones and use sterling silver or 14k gold filled wire. Clasps and chains are also sterling silver unless stated otherwise.
